While none of its programs are represented in the top 50, Colombia is the most represented Latin American country in the ranking, with eight schools featured — its highest-ranked school, the Universidad de Los Andes Colombia, is ranked 51-100. The highest-ranked law school in Canada is located at the University of Toronto, which ranks 20th in the world. Two other Canadian law schools are among the top 50 in the world: McGill University ranked 28th and the University of British Columbia 40th. It was founded in 1963 and has become known for offering a range of informal learning opportunities alongside its systematic learning programs held at CUHK`s nine constituent colleges. For more than 50 years, the University has built a solid reputation on the world stage for its groundbreaking excellence in teaching and research in business, law and medicine. CUHK is the only university in Hong Kong to have received global awards such as Nobel Prizes and Turing Awards among its faculties. In addition, the university ranks 49th in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2022 and is among the highest rated legal institutions in Hong Kong. Law at CityU is one of the best in Hong Kong and is recognized by Times Higher Education 2021 as the 31st best in the world in their overall legal rankings. CityU School of Law offers an award-winning four-year undergraduate program and a number of postgraduate and doctoral programs such as the Juris Doctor program, the Master of Laws and the LLM with specialization in arbitration and dispute resolution; Doctor of Laws for the Chinese Chief Justice and MPhil/Ph.D. in Law.
